Lawn Care
Lush, green lawns don't just happen. They are the result of hours of care by property owners, or by professionals like us.
Our lawn care programs include:
- Fertilization
- Pre-emergent crabgrass treatment
- Weed control where necessary
- Grub and insect control where necessary
Fertilizers are formulated, and treatment material selected, for our area's unique growing conditions. Yet, our lawn care services often cost less than the big, national companies that believe that one program fits all lawns in the USA.
We offer a choice of traditional or natural organic fertilizer and spot treating of weeds, and grub or insect control only when needed.
On occasion, your lawn may require aeration or dethatching to stimulate healthy growth.
Plugs of sod are cut from your lawn by a special machine. This process loosens the soil, allowing more water and air to reach the grass roots. It is very healthy for the lawn.
Thatch is a build-up of dead, undecayed grass roots and stems, not clippings. A build-up of thatch usually indicates that you may have serious problems. Our lawn care professionals can remove the thatch, diagnose the problem and treat the cause.

New Lawns
Sodding is the fastest, most efficient method of establishing a new or renovated lawn. Sod is delivered in rolls or squares, and our technicians roll them out on the graded soil like installing a carpet.
Hydroseeding is ideal for slopes and other areas where grass seed might wash away. We mix grass seed, fertilizer and a green-colored cellulose fiber with water, and spray it on the graded surface. When the cellulose dries, it will let water and sunlight in, but reduce the chance that the seed will washing away.
Seeding is the traditional method, and the least expensive. However, it requires the most care to become established. If you would rather just admire your lawn, rather than tend to it, call us for a professional lawn care program.
